Product Type: Coils
Introduction:
Coils are random wound or precision wound on a coilform such as a nylon bobbin or a paper tube with layer insulation. Self-supported coils are wound on a mandrel with no coilform at all. The shape of the coil can be square, rectangular, round, oval or any other shape as desired. Insulated magnet wire, self-bonding magnet wire, Litz wire, or nylon served Litz wire may be used in coil construction.
Typical Applications:
Coils have a variety of uses such as inductors, pick up coils, RF coils, relay coils, motor coils, antenna coils, solenoid coils, and ignition coils. Air-core coils may be used as inductance standards.
Electrical Characteristics:
Coils can be designed to operate over a wide range of frequencies, input voltages, and inductance values.
Mechanical Characteristics:
Coils can be varnish impregnated, molded or potted with epoxy in an enclosure. Coils are available with fly leads, PCB pins, solder terminals, or screw terminals.
